For 15 years, Barwick Developments has been delivering quality craftsmanship and reliable service, backed by Managing Director Matthew Barwick’s 23 years of experience in the building industry.

Matthew’s exceptional skills and unwavering dedication first earned him the prestigious Master Builders Tasmania Apprentice of the Year Award in 2007; the first of many recognitions in his distinguished career in construction.
His leadership continued to stand out in 2017 when he secured the “Renovation and Addition up to $200,000” award at the Master Builders Tasmania Excellence Awards.
In 2019, his talent and vision were further recognised as he was named Master Builders Tasmania State Young Builder of the Year. That same year, Matthew went on to claim the esteemed title of National Young Builder of the Year at the Master Builders National Excellence in Building & Construction Awards.
Barwick Developments, under Matthew’s direction, saw even more success at the 2024 Master Builders Tasmania Awards for Excellence, winning the “Renovation and Addition between $650,000 and $1,000,000” for their impressive Douglas Street project.
This achievement was just the beginning, as the project went on to be nominated as a finalist at the National Master Builders Awards for Excellence.
